Each spring I look forward to the poppies that grow alongside my home -- they are one of the first plants to bloom and a sign that summer is almost here. These earrings are inspired by them and the promise of warmer days.

I hammer-formed poppy flowers from sterling silver and added little stamens to the centers. The flowers are 1 inch wide and dangle about 2 inches long on handmade sterling ear hooks. They have a slightly oxidized and brushed finish.

This item is hand made to order. I will make every effort to ensure that the piece resembles the photo but, as with all handmade items, there may be slight differences.
